Tern Feature Requests

When working inside a task or drafting an email within a trip, there is no visible reference to key trip details. This creates friction — users must open a separate tab or session to look up basic information, risking loss of work in progress. Requested improvements: Display the trip name prominently at the top of the page when inside a task or email draft Show trip dates in the same context bar so they're accessible without navigating away Show the traveler names (with correct spelling) while composing emails, eliminating the need to open a second session

Advisor wants to remove or edit the auto-generated "Planned especially for [name] & [x] companions" line that appears on the newer itinerary header styles (Overlay, Stacked, Split). Currently, the only way to hide this line is to switch to the Legacy header, which removes the newer design entirely. The advisor likes the Split header and wants to keep it without that line. The text isn't part of the overview statement or description, so there's no way to edit it from the itinerary editor today.

I have 3 groups (all with sub trips) where I have updated the group itinerary with destination guides, etc that I would like to be able to sync with the sub trips. How can I do that since I wasn't in the beta test?

I would like a "Pay in Destination" area on the booking and pricing page for clients to see. This amount is not part of their deposit and final payment to the supplier.

I would love to see red dot notification alerts added across the main Tern dashboard tabs- Trips, Tasks, Emails, Library, Contacts, etc. Anytime something needs our attention. For example: client approved a proposal, made a payment, needs to make a payment, signed up for insurance, declined insurance, completed a form, or has new trip activity. I know this comes through email, but there isn’t an easy visual alert on the dashboard. The red dots 🔴 already used for Ask Tern are helpful because they show unread activity right away. It would be great to have that same alert style across the platform so advisors can quickly see what needs attention without clicking into every section.

For trips where a preferred supplier's itinerary platform is being used instead of Tern's built-in itinerary builder, there is currently no way to redirect the trip link to that external itinerary. Requested improvement: Add an option at the trip level to enter an external itinerary URL When set, this URL would serve as the default trip link in place of Tern's itinerary builder This allows advisors to leverage best-in-class supplier itinerary tools while still managing the trip within Tern for tasks, emails, and client records This would give advisors flexibility without forcing them to choose between Tern's CRM features and a supplier's superior itinerary presentation.

On the client-facing itinerary it shows the date that the guarantee was placed, but not the date that the actual payment will be paid (at check in for my clients). It does say guarantee but outside of the industry may not realize that it is not paid. So it would be far more accurate, instead of showing the day that the payment is due and not when it was booked/guaranteed.

when sending the emails on flight delays it would be so helpful to see the original time vs. the new time that way we can see if its 5 minutes or 3 hours of a change at quick glance

When photos automatically pull into an itinerary, but they are outdated or not good quality, there should be a button to remove all of the photos at once.

I would like trip status to change automatically to Traveling when the dates are during travel... and automatically change to Traveled when the trip dates are past.
