Tern Feature Requests

I think this is pretty self explanatory, but it would make these items stand out more clearly in the itineraries, adds a bit of color and would be very professional looking in my opinion.

In the new text editor it does not "save" any custom font colors you add, so in each itinerary and each different type of text editor you have to add it each time. Would be great to be able to load custom default brand colors to the text editor and/or have it remember colors most recently used.

I would like the ability to send (or forward, or cc) any email to anyone I want, from anywhere on the site, and not be limited to them being a client, and only being able to send emails from a sub-trip.

It would be incredibly helpful to have notes date and time stamped so we know when we made the note. Currently, when I click on a note to review the details, it changes the date and just says updated but there is no reference to when the note was made. I use notes to refer to conversations or key decisions and need to know when they were made.

It would be nice for clients to be able to view their reward/loyalty program numbers. So that if/when they check in somewhere, they can double check it's added and can look it up on the spot from their app.

Can we please make it where agents can add an installment, change a total (overall, not for a payment that has been authorized), etc. without the history of the payments or current authorizations being deleted? This is creating a lot of extra work for the agents when we have to reenter past payments and re-request authorizations. It also creates doubt in the client's mind when payments disappear and extra work when they need to resubmit.

The way that groups are displayed within the main page adds extra clutter. If the main group was shown with those sub-trips as a collapsible option within that, it would nake a much cleaner interface. Right now, you can only show/hide sub-trips, but there is no logical association between the Group Trip and the Sub-Trip except for within the actual module. Visually, this causes a lot of extra chaos and I'd love to be able to link trips together. I want to be able to access the sub-trips directly from the main page, when needed, but also be able to hide them away when I'm not working on that trip. With large groups, this becomes increasingly congested and confusing.

Request to change default spacing in text editor from double to single.

Hi Tern Team! 👋 I'd love to suggest a new feature that would really help streamline workflows: Please allow form responses to trigger specific tags, based on how a traveler answers questions (like trip type, destination, or interest level). For example: If someone selects "Cruise" on a form → tag = Cruise Interest If someone selects "Alaska Group Trip" → tag = Alaska 2026 This would allow us to build more specific automations without needing separate forms for everything.
