Would like to have the ability to to record Manually collected, (service fees paid outside of stripe) to the service fee area. This would allow us to record the payment and dates of service accurately. Currently, we have no option to record and collect payment for service fee outside of activity. Activity requires that the date be listed at the time of the actual trip, in order for a credit card authorization to be listed. This is completely inaccurate since the service begins from day one which is usually a year out from the beginning of the of the trip. It is a liability issue for chargebacks to have this listed on record inaccurately.

I dont collect a fee yet, but definitely see the need for it in the trip accounting. I would like Tern to think about a trip accounting section, so that we can keep track of other cost, such as gifts, travel to client printing ect...

I collect service fees outside of Tern and would love to be able to keep track of which clients have paid my planning fee by adding a service fee that was paid manually!

I just learned last week that you can enter it as a package on the bookings tab. Then it doesn’t appear in the itinerary.

Imperial red Koala yes! You can have them authorize it just like a normal payment.

Bisque RoosterThanks Spencer! However, it still doesn’t allow one to record the start date accurately, nor does it allow one to record the service fee as a fee instead of a commission when packaged.
