The current system only allows searching for trips by their name, which limits the ability to quickly find specific trips. Adding a feature to search trips by confirmation number would greatly enhance usability and efficiency, allowing users to locate trips more easily.

A confirmation number is often the fastest way to locate a booking and should be searchable.
Many times, a supplier, client, invoice, or confirmation email only references the confirmation number, and without search capability, we have to manually search by traveler or trip details, which slows everything down.
This is especially important in an agency setting where multiple team members may be servicing the same booking. Since confirmation numbers are one of the most universal booking identifiers in travel, making them searchable would greatly improve efficiency.

Very important use case. More generally would be good to have reservation search tool based on combination of various key fields including booking/reservation/confirmation number as requested, supplier name, group name, booking status. This way can quickly find a set of reservations in addition to just a single reservation. Use case please provide report/list of all reservations for supplier abc that are in a quote status, or please provide report/list of reservations for group xyz for supplier abc that are in deposit status.

I would love to be able to search a trip by name, client name, phone number, confirmation number, etc and have a drop down populate for me to easily navigate to that coordinating trip. I have so many trip statuses, and some of them get to be such long lists that it can be time consuming to find what I'm looking for somethings. A quick place to type in a key piece of information and have it worth through that in a drop down that I can just click on instead of scrolling over to find the right column would be amazing!

We've run into an issue where we're having difficulty finding a booking simply by the booking number on the trip screen. A way to be able to look it up that way would be awesome!

I agree that would be a great search capability on the Trip screen. For a work-around for now, I use the Commission screen, click on Bookings, and then enter the Confirm #. Use that to link over to the trip.
