The document tab is the most upfront way that clients can see documents, so it would be great if when adding a document somewhere else on the itinerary, it also was added to the document tab so we don't have to upload twice (or in my case, I end up just uploading to the document tab - but it would be better if it could be filed by item instead).

Hey y'all! We're hoping to get this update out this week.
Documents added at the activity level will be visible on the trip-level documents tab for both you and your clients.
We're also adjusting how receipts are uploaded on the Booking and Pricing tab so they are added to list of documents on the activity, and with the ability to make them visible to travelers like any other documents.
If you've been uploading documents in both places today, both of them will end up visible on the trip-level documents tab, so you may want to do some cleanup if you're worried about that confusing your travelers.

Brad Turner Sometimes I have to load the same document on multiple days, eg. a private guide multi-day tour, car rental confirmation for pickup and the on dropoff. Now these show multiple times in the documents tab which is also a bit confusing. My recommendation is that each voucher/receipt/confirmation only show one time in the documents tab when attached to multiple activities.

Marigold Narwhal oh, good to know! We'll have to look into supporting that. I hadn't considered that scenario where you have the same document attached to multiple items on the itinerary.

yes! yes! having any document i've uploaded within an activity also show up on the documents tab would be sooo helpful to both me and the client. I've been uploading in both places, but am so worried that if something gets updated I will forget to revise one of the two.

if i add the documents in the itinerary it would be nice to be able to have them appear on the documents tab of their overall itinerary

Once you load them in documents, it does appear on the pdf version of the itinerary. (Disregard, you are talking about IN individual sections)

This would be a HUGE timesaver and would also be great if the name of the document was inherited from the file you are uploading (with the ability to edit of course) it takes me so much time to add my documents in both places and make sure that I am naming the same way in each place.

If Document is entered under Itinerary Feature, it should auto populate to The Document File. The preview should also look and feel like what the client sees in the App. When previewing, you can't see what the client sees. You can't check the document entered under the Itinerary, and the client can't see it unless they use the app. We all know you're not getting full buy in on the app because the current app is not intuitive. To me it is more like an Android interface instead of an Apple interface. The client needs simplicity, and consistent date delivery

This just came up again. I had changed a confirmation for a transfer and put it in the transfer documents tab but there was still an old summary with another confirmation located in the documents tab and the client looked there (because it’s the most obvious place to look) and got the time wrong
