Disney Dining Credit Card Guarantee Option

When planning a Disney Trip, I am required to get a clients credit card information in order to guarantee the reservation. There is no charge for the client unless they fail to cancel the reservation less than 2 hours before the reservation time or fail to show up, which in that case the client is charged $10/person. Right now users are entering $.01 in order to authorize something to collect the credit card information, and then a note is written to let the client know they will not be charged the $.01. Provide a way to collect credit card information for guarantees for other activity types other than lodging. Add the ability to add cancellation details.

Add ability to get credit card authorization without a price

Sometimes advisors have clients for dining that just need their card on file for when reservations are booked. So it would be ideal to do a credit card authorization without a price in these cases.

It would be great to have a credit card on file under the client profile for instances like dining reservations that require a credit card number for booking

Maybe as a CYA it would be "approved up to X $$ amount?" With a way for the system to track when that amount has been reached?

This is needed! My high end clients prefer their cc to be on file. Super important and a requirement for many. It allows quick for quick booking once approved and I am able to handle last minute requests / changes.

100% agree. I would say the majority of my clients are used to saying charge the credit card on file. In an emergency travel situtation it is also important we have it on file so we can quickly rebook air, change transfers, buy ferry tickets, buy a hotel night due to weather delays,
etc.

I think this is imperative and allows for convenience and ease.

Absolutely! A must for high end clients

This is absolutely necessary! Luxury clients like to have a credit card on file to be used when they give instructions.

One work around for this is to create an activity in the itinerary called "Dining Options" and then ask them to authorize up to $300 for dining reservations you make on their behalf. When they authorize its available for 30 days
