My company really wants to transition over to term but we cannot do that until there is a chat feature on the app within each trip. This is essential to our process/client experience and we can move over to Tern until this happens. If this is something you are considering/in the process of doing PLEASE let me know so we can begin our transition.

I was using Travefy, and I was able to offer the itinerary and all documents in the palm of your hand as a fabulous "added-value-service" for my clients. I provide a "Planning through Return Home" professional service, and having everything in the palm of their hands is huge. Offering my clients messaging while in-destination with no concern for international call/text rates if they need my assistance due to a problem has been a great advantage. I am surprised to find that Tern doesn't have this from the start. I strongly urge this option, as it is part of the value-add that is very meaningful on the client side.

It would be great to have an agent facing app that allowed us to message clients rather than having to go through email all of the time. As someone with strict boundaries an business hours, I love that I can message my clients (or have them message me) with issues during their trip that can go directly to my personal phone rather than me having to live on my work email 24/7.

This is a fantastic idea! The only way I have found to easily access client itineraries is by adding myself to trips, which can be a little odd for the clients. Not sure if there is a workaround, but we should definitely have an agent facing app that can also provide us with some on-the-go editing options.

I hope this gets a lot more votes as it is a feature that is absolutely needed my clients use to love the fact (when I was on a different platform) that they could message me with questions, issues . Many of them prefer instant messaging than sending a email.

I was using Travefy and they have this in their app. It was super helpful on a group cruise recently because it allowed travelers to chat amongst themselves pretty easy.
