When I mark an item as paid, it automatically uses today's date. This limits me from importing previous trips with backdated payments, and could confuse my clients if all "marked as paid" items show a date in which they did not originally make that payment. I would like to be able to manually adjust the date a payment was made.

This is complete! You'll see a new option to adjust the date once you mark something as paid. We've also backfilled the paid time stamp for older bookings you already marked as paid before this change, and you can now go back and adjust those as needed!

There are times when a client has transferred a reservation to me or I need to enter a payment manually and paid more than the deposit. I'd like the ability to add a payment manually to the trip so that it reflects the remaining amount a client owes when they review the trip. I also would like to be able to set the date the payment was made for record keeping.

I agree. I have imported a few active itineraries and added their past payments as an installment. Even though I put the payment date in the due date field, it shows the payment as being made on the date I enter it. This has already caused a LOT of questions from my clients and I'm migrating over.
