Add cancellation dates for fully refundable policies

For lodging and activities, I would like to be able to input a date and time (for hotel reservations sometimes there is a specific time in that timezone) that a reservation can be canceled without penalty. Also, I would like to be able to have an automatic email that will send the client a courtesy reminder X amount of days before the refundable period deadline.

Could we have a field in the Booking tab for refundable cancellation date? Then have a trigger for cancellation date so that I could create an automation to notify me as hotels or activities are going to expire soon

It would also be helpful if the cancellation deadline could be referenced by specific booking so this is clear to the client in a reminder email workflow. e.g Your booking at the Hilton is cancellable with no penalty by December 10. as opposed to "Your trip to Europe has a reservation that must be cancelled by December 10 to avoid penalty"

I agree this is not the best set up. I just had a client question this wording on their payment authorization confirmation. The supplier cancellation policy should be displayed on the authorization, and we should have an option like "fully refundable until x date" to reflect deposit payments being refundable but only until the final payment date.

Yes, "fully refundable" can be misleading, clients might be able to think they can cancel at any time for a full refund. I'd like to be able to just display the cancel policy on its own, without having to pick a summary option first.

Or at least merge in the date, like “fully refundable until June 1, 2025”

I agree and it would be nice to be able to add dates for cancelations, such as 90 days 75%, 30 days 100%
