I think there is a much bigger workflow gap here that impacts agencies using Tern as an actual operational platform, especially for custom tour operators and agencies working with local suppliers.

Right now, Suppliers appear to function only as a lightweight label for trip building and commission tracking. However, in real-world operations, suppliers are also financial and relationship entities that agencies actively work with before, during, and after a trip.

For example, when attaching a supplier to a hotel, transfer, guide service, experience, etc., we eventually need to:

* retrieve payment details

* find contact information quickly

* send invoices or payment confirmations

* access notes and operational instructions

* know who the main contact person is

* store phone numbers, emails, addresses, WhatsApp numbers, websites, social profiles, banking/payment notes, etc.

Currently, none of this appears possible within the Supplier object itself, and Contacts cannot be linked to Suppliers either. This creates duplicate work and breaks the operational flow because supplier information becomes fragmented between “Contacts” and “Suppliers” with no relationship between them.

Ideally, Suppliers should behave more like a lightweight CRM/company record where:

* one Supplier can have multiple linked Contacts

* supplier profiles can store operational and accounting information

* suppliers become searchable entities across Tern

* advisors can quickly retrieve supplier details while building itineraries, processing payments, or managing trip operations

Without this connection, it becomes difficult to use Tern as the central source of truth for supplier management and accounting workflows.

I believe this would be a major improvement for agencies that work heavily with DMCs, local operators, boutique hotels, drivers, guides, and custom travel vendors.

I would like to see the supplier section built out almost like the Contacts - with all the contact fields, ability to add documents, notes etc. I also would like when we add a contact to the trip the ability to keep it private. If we are putting them into packages and you have the supplier name they currently show.
