Limit suppliers the agents can choose from

It seems that you can choose suppliers that anyone using Tern has entered - this has made it a nightmare for reporting purposes. There are roughly 6+ ways to choose Walt Disney World as the supplier (for example) and that is hurting reporting for how much of each destination we are selling!

I believe with agency settings + the ability to restrict bookings to agency suppliers (in financial settings) we have fully solved for this, but please let me know if not! https://www.loom.com/share/7290c8a839f344049f1e7217d37a06c2?sid=0401b549-48aa-4392-b462-81fa307c9820

Molly Johnson Please roll this out to independent agents as well! Or use bold text to show the suppliers that we've added ourselves when we are searching the 'global' supplier list. I had a discussion with David about this after Tom Carpenter's first session. If Tern will only pull in the T&Cs/cancellation policies when we choose the exact same supplier profile, it needs to be more obvious which ones we've previously used from the global list. Or, allow us to toggle the global list on/off so we don't even have to see the suppliers that other agents have entered.
On that note, I would love the ability to toggle other 'global' lists off too, such as the Food & Drink Preferences and Travel Preferences on Forms. I don't use those form elements at all because of the way they're currently set up. I would much prefer to have a list of preferences that I can enter for my clients to choose from, rather than allowing them to enter their own preferences or search the preferences that other clients have previously entered (which is also a privacy concern - I remember seeing someone post about this issue in the FB group). My workaround is to use a short text custom question to ask for preferences until these features have been fixed.

Here's one of the FB posts discussing the second issue. I think the original post might've been deleted. Molly Johnson

Molly Johnson yes you have. Thanks so much!

100% agree. I should only see the suppliers that I have entered for my agency and have vetted. It goes beyond reporting. I don't want to pick a supplier that another agency entered incorrectly and not be giving my client the correct T&Cs, especially cancellation policies due to potential for charge backs.

I think if there is the Tern list, then from an agency level if we could clone the supplier but add it to our agency list only and then give agents access to our own list only.
Sarah Simon
Yes, this is not fun on the owner side.

Coming from a competing software this is driving me NUTS! I would love to have a global list that is managed by Tern, and a custom list that can be managed by agency or agent depending on setup.

I agree with this 100%. Keep the full list or whatever, but allow us to make suppliers active or inactive for our own reporting purposes. I am already dreading sales reports because Disney for example, has about 15 different label options for WDW alone. If we can limit what the advisors have the ability to select, that would make life a billion times easier!
Melissa Duell
Yes please - TOO MANY Disney options!

There should only be one supplier database maintained by TERN or somehow give admins the ability to create/edit their own agency database. Something, reporting is already rough and this issue makes it so messy.

I agree with this. I would love to have a global list (not sure who would maintain this list) and then have the ability to add a supplier just to my agency if it is missing from the global list.

Yes to this!!!
